2nd Shift Robot Technician

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Robot Technician positions for a Manufacturing company in East Tawas, MI. This is a Temp-to-Hire job. Apply now!

• Perform daily startup and shutdown procedures for automated robotic equipment

• Conduct preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on robotic arms and fluid/paint delivery systems

• Monitor paint application processes and inspect finished products to ensure automotive quality standards are met

• Troubleshoot robotic equipment and automated production line issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency

• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues within the manufacturing process

• Support production operations involving PLC-controlled systems and industrial robotics equipment

$18.00/hour

2nd Shift

Monday – Friday

3:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.

Overtime: Saturday and/or Sunday as needed

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Experience performing maintenance and repairs on automated equipment preferred

• Ability to work with industrial robotics and automated production systems

• Familiarity with PLC systems such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens is a plus

• Experience with industrial robot brands such as Fanuc, Kuka, and Yaskawa is preferred

• Ability to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineering and production teams
