Job Description
The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed critical access hospital in Alturas, CA, to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support care across outpatient, inpatient, swing bed, and skilled nursing settings, making a meaningful impact in a close-knit community.

What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, effective care under the supervision of Physical Therapists
- Support patient progress using evidence-based interventions
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams
- Ensure compliance with PT practice standards, EMR use, and safety protocols
- Foster a positive team culture through professionalism and initiative
- Participate in training, program development, and team initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited PTA program
- Active California PTA license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- EMR proficiency and interest or experience in outpatient, acute, or SNF settings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

- $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (Full-Time) - $2,500 at hire, $2,500 after 2 years
