Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 37 hours/week (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $69 – $87/hour (depends on experience)
Job Summary"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a short-term contract assignment in a high-volume hospital Radiology department. The technologist will perform advanced CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, radiation protection, and adherence to diagnostic imaging standards.
Schedule Details- Monday to Friday
- Night Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
- 37 hours per week
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)
- ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT required
- Minimum 1 year recent CT experience
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and radiation safety
- Perform CT imaging procedures following established hospital protocols
- Optimize imaging parameters (kV/mA) for quality and safety
- Conduct daily equipment calibration and quality control checks
- Prepare and assess patients before, during, and after CT procedures
- Administer contrast materials per physician orders and protocols
- Ensure accurate handling and documentation of radiopharmaceuticals
- Maintain imaging records, logs, and charge documentation
- Follow ALARA radiation safety principles at all times
- Monitor equipment performance and report technical issues
- Support radiologists with accurate diagnostic imaging data
- Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Advanced CT imaging techniques and protocols
- Contrast administration and patient monitoring
- Radiation safety and quality assurance practices
- PACS/RIS/EMR system proficiency preferred
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in overnight shift environment
