Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10s | 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM
On-Call Requirement: Yes (M–F 5:30 PM–7:00 AM + 24-hour weekends)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with advanced multispecialty “full-body” scanning capability to support a short-term acute care hospital setting. This role requires strong competency across vascular, general, OB/GYN, and cardiac ultrasound modalities, including advanced echocardiography procedures.
The ideal candidate will function independently in a high-acuity environment and demonstrate proficiency across multiple imaging domains.
ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive general abdominal and pelvic ultrasound exams
Conduct OB and fetal imaging studies
Perform transvaginal ultrasound procedures
Complete breast imaging studies
Perform full vascular ultrasound studies (arterial and venous)
Perform adult echocardiography studies
Conduct contrast echocardiography procedures
Perform stress echocardiography (including treadmill stress echo)
Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging across all modalities
Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures
Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and imaging standards
Respond to on-call requirements including nights and weekends
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical care teams
Maintain accurate imaging documentation and records
ARDMS certification (General and/or Vascular) OR CCI RDCS certification
Current BLS certification
Demonstrated competency across:
General ultrasound (abdomen/pelvis)
OB/GYN and fetal ultrasound
Transvaginal imaging
Breast imaging
Vascular ultrasound
Adult echocardiography
Contrast echo and stress echo
Ability to work independently in a high-acuity hospital setting
Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in multispecialty imaging
