Job Description
A unique opportunity isavailable with a local Outpatient Behavioral Health organization located in Tyler, Texas.
The ideallicensed professionalshould be passionate about serving individuals from diverse backgrounds and providing care based on the foundation of mutual trust, respect, and collaboration. Candidate will complete initial biopsychosocial evaluations, clinical supervisions and psychotherapy sessions on clients in service as well as clients by referral.
Thelicensed professionalwill have the freedom to schedule patients according to their availability.
Candidate will also be a patient focused self-starter with the ability to work independently while still being a part of a very supportive team.This position isstrongly encouragedfor a clinician with targeted case management experience and established clientele is encouraged. This a full time W2 position.
Major Responsibilities / Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Function as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Efficiently and effectively interact with team members, internal and external partners to accomplish essential tasks.
- Engage with staff to facilitate referrals.
- Create and conduct presentations in the community and schools to increase knowledge/awareness of both behavioral and emotional stressors and symptoms.
- Be comfortable delivering therapy through telemedicine.
- Competent to provide assessment and referral services to elementary through high school ages.
- Efficient in administering assessments, CANS/ANSA and screenings.
- Deliver client-centered, evidence-based therapies.
- Be effective in documentation procedures.
- Refer for services outside scope of practice as needed.
- Refer patients to appropriate level of ongoing care.
- Identify appropriate referral sources in the area of the school district served.
- Participate in community outreach activities to raise awareness as needed.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described, such as attending trainings and regular team meetings.
- Use excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Participate in regular team meetings.
- Handle confidential and/or sensitive information with discretion and adherence to HIPAA rules
- Promote the NETCC mission, vision, and values by action
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education / Experience:
- Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
- Licensed to render services in Texas.
- MaintaincurrentTexas licensure with scope of practice that encompasses group, individual/family therapy
This position will be In Office upon requestwith clinical sessions completed via telehealth or in office.
Compensation is dependent upon experience.
