Job Description
We are looking to add an Electrical Engineer II to our team. In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle design and implementation of board-level and system-level electronics hardware for advanced RF communication systems. We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer II who is self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and validating a wide range of electronic systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics hardware development.
- Experience with PCB layout and the core principles of board design.
- Knowledge of lab instruments, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
- Involvement in technical trade studies on issues such as IC/component selection and circuit implementation.
- Ability to convey complex electrical systems through variety of documentation, including block diagrams.
- Experience with microcontrollers and/or FPGA based systems.
- Experience using LTSpice for circuit and/or system level simulations.
- Write and execute test procedures for design verification and acceptance.
- Willingness to take on variety of difficult technical problems and implement complete solution.
- Perform detailed and complete schematic design for complex boards, ranging from key components to supporting passives.
- Proficiency with electronics design (EDA) tools such as Altium, Kicad, Xpedition.
- Simulation and analysis experience such as power integrity, signal integrity, or worst-case circuit analysis.
- Familiar with derating standards and guidelines.
- Programming fundamentals (C/C++, Python, etc.).
