In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle design and implementation of board-level and system-level electronics hardware for advanced RF communication systems. We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer I who is early in their career and passionate about engineering. This position offers the opportunity to develop core engineering skills while working alongside a highly experienced team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Industry experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and test.
- Strong EE fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of adjacent fields, such as software and mechanical.
- Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, multi meters, or logic analyzers.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to ask questions and implement feedback.
- PCB layout experience using tools such as Altium, Cadence, or KiCAD. (Altium preferred)
- Experience delivering subcircuit or board designs to production and deployment.
- Own key portions of the end-to-end electronics design process, from concept and architecture through schematic, layout, test, and production.
- Experience using LTSpice for circuit and/or system level simulations.
- Experience implementing microcontrollers or FPGAs into designs.
- Complete analysis such as worst-case circuit analysis, signal integrity analysis, and power integrity analysis.
- Develop bring-up plans and design verification plans for new circuit elements.
