Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Contract & Compliance Specialist to join our team and serve as a key resource in managing the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts while ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements. This role is critical to supporting our defense and aerospace programs and will work cross-functionally with program management, finance, legal, and operations.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters with customers, subcontractors, and government agencies, managing the review process and applicable flow-downs.
- Review and negotiate contract and PO terms and conditions to mitigate risk, protect company interests, and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and customer-specific requirements.
- Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and milestones to ensure all obligations are met and proactively address any issues.
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract requirements and compliance obligations. Maintain accurate, audit-ready contract files and documentation.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Desired skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law or related field.
- 5+ years experience in contract/compliance management within aerospace/defense field.
- Strong understanding of CMMC 2.0 framework
- NCMA Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) designation
Experience with Macola or other ERP systems. - Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements in an aerospace and defense/manufacturing environment.
The base salary range for this role is $90,000 USD - $100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. PCD considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
