Inventory Coordinator - Moore's Electrical & Mechanical
Location: Altavista, VA

The Role:
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of all Moore's Service locations (company vehicles & branches). This role ensures that items within the locations are effectively utilized and managed to maintain the value of the Moore's Inventory Account. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Area Service Managers and other team members.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct cycle counts of locations to update inventory in real-time.
- Facilitate cycle counts for all locations and coordinate with Area Service Managers.
- Monitor vendor usage and time to explore new efficiencies.
- Track Truck Stock Purchases against sales of inventory items.
- Manage refrigerant purchase and usage tracking, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide weekly reports on purchasing trends to management.
- Perform random audits on inventory at various locations to ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures.
- Generate and issue Purchase Orders (POs) for necessary truck and tool inventory.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure proper documentation and integration into the inventory system.
You Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with inventory software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and environments. Flexibility to handle new and unexpected challenges.
