Position Overview
CSlope Solutions LLC is seeking a Journeyman Business Intelligence Analyst to support data modeling, requirements leadership, and requirements elicitation activities on the NAVSUP Enterprise Web (NEW) program. This role bridges the gap between NAVSUP's logistics data ecosystem and the web development team, translating complex operational data requirements into technical data models and structured requirements artifacts. The right candidate combines strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
PWS Reference Responsibility
PWS §5.3 Develop logical and physical data models supporting NAVSUP Enterprise Web applications; document data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, and data flow specifications.
PWS §5.7 Contribute to requirements development leadership activities; facilitate joint application design (JAD) sessions, synthesize stakeholder inputs, and produce requirements traceability matrices.
PWS §5.8 Conduct structured requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews, process observation, and document analysis; produce well-formed user stories and functional requirements specifications.
Analysis Analyze existing NAVSUP data structures and business processes to identify integration requirements, data quality issues, and optimization opportunities.
Collaboration Work closely with Web Developers to ensure data models are correctly implemented; participate in sprint ceremonies and provide analytical support to the development team.
Required Qualifications
● 3–6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or systems analysis on IT programs.
● Proficiency in data modeling techniques (ER modeling, UML, logical/physical design); experience with modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or Lucidchart.
● Strong SQL skills; ability to write and interpret complex queries for data analysis and validation.
● Experience conducting structured requirements elicitation and producing formal requirements documentation (BRD, FRS, user stories).
● Demonstrated ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops and translate business needs into technical specifications.
● Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
● Prior experience supporting DoD or federal logistics information systems.
● Familiarity with Navy supply chain, ERP systems (Navy ERP / SAP), or NAVSUP operational data environments.
● Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
● CBAP, PMI-PBA, or IIBA certification.
