Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Dock Associate in Buford, GA. In this Dock Associate role, you will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift, utilizing RF scanners, and communicating with management in regards to production levels. In This Dock Associate Role, You’ll Be Responsible For:
In This Dock Associate Role, You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Operating a sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload materials.
- Utilizing RF guns/scanners for inventory and order tracking.
- Applying basic shipping knowledge to prepare and process shipments.
- Using basic Excel skills to log or verify production data.
- Communicating effectively with management and team members regarding production levels and dock flow.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or dock environment.
- Required: Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Preferred: Ability to operate a reach truck is a major plus!
- Experience using RF guns.
- Basic computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Perks:
- Contract-to-hire opportunity.
- 1st Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.
- Starting Pay Rate: $18.50/hr.
