Build the Data That Drives the Business
Litehouse Foods is seeking an experienced Data Engineer II to join our team!
Are you passionate about transforming data into meaningful business insights? As a Data Engineer II, you'll help design, build, and optimize the data pipelines and platforms that power decision-making across Litehouse. Working closely with teams across Operations, Finance, Sales, and Executive Leadership, you'll develop scalable solutions that turn complex data into actionable information. What You Will Do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives
Extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple source systems using advanced SQL and data engineering tools
Build and optimize datasets, data models, and data architectures that support business and operational decision-making
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve data quality, and increase platform efficiency and scalability
Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Leadership to understand business needs and deliver impactful data solutions
Support and enhance reporting and analytics platforms while helping drive a data-driven culture across the organization
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
3-5 years of experience working with SQL and relational databases
3-5 years of experience developing data pipelines, ETL processes, or data engineering solutions
Experience with ETL and data integration tools such as Alteryx, Informatica, SSIS, or Pentaho
Experience with reporting and analytics platforms such as Tableau and Power BI
Programming experience with languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server
Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
Exposure to cloud-based analytics and machine learning platforms such as Databricks, SageMaker, or H2O.ai
Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and large-scale data environments
