AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified Rad Tech in Lakewood, Washington, 98439!
Job Responsibilities
Diagnostic Imaging: Independently operate stationary and mobile X-ray equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily supporting the Emergency Department (ED) and inpatient units overnight.
Patient Positioning & Care: Prepare, educate, and accurately position patients of all acuity levels while ensuring maximum comfort and minimum movement to avoid artifacts.
Radiation Safety: Strictly adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles, utilizing proper lead shielding and collimation to minimize radiation dose.
Data Management: Evaluate images for technical quality, process raw data, and upload completed exams to PACS while updating electronic medical records (EMR).

Requirements
Job Requirements
Certification: Active ARRT(R) national registry in good standing.
License: Active Radiologic Technologist certification issued by the Washington State Department of Health.
Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of recent, independent experience in an acute care hospital setting (ED and trauma experience preferred for night shifts).
Life Support: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
