Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on functional goals and clinical needs
• Perform comprehensive physical therapy assessments, including strength, balance, mobility, and range-of-motion evaluations
• Implement therapeutic exercise programs and evidence-based rehabilitation interventions
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care guidelines
• Promote patient independence and improve overall functional abilities and quality of life

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active California Physical Therapist license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Physical Therapist experience
• Current BLS Certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and evidence-based treatment practices
• Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Strong assessment, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making abilities
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
