Material Handler - Overnight Shift

Our client, a global leader in the flavor and fragrance industry, is seeking a Production Associate to support manufacturing operations within a fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, warehouse, production, or material handling experience who are looking to grow their career with an established organization. This role is 930pm-530am.

Responsibilities

• Assist compounders with the production of flavor and ingredient products.
• Accurately handle, measure, and transfer raw materials according to written and verbal instructions.
• Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Operate production equipment and material handling machinery, including forklifts and conveyors, in a safe manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and material movements utilizing SAP and other systems.
• Follow FIFO inventory procedures and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report any operational or safety concerns.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, health, and quality procedures.
• Support general production, warehouse, and packaging operations as needed.
• Work independently while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience working with inventory systems, SAP, or material management systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout an entire shift.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and handling raw materials.
• Must be willing to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, eye protection, and uniforms.
