Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
***Overtime on Fridays!***
POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Control Inspector ensures components, subassemblies, and finished medical devices meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role is key to maintaining product safety, accuracy, and compliance within a medical device environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✔ Inspect components, subassemblies, and finished products
✔ Identify and address nonconforming materials
✔ Perform product testing to verify quality and performance
✔ Document results following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
✔ Review Device History Records (DHR) for product release
✔ Maintain accurate records and controlled documentation
✔ Support calibration and maintenance of test equipment
✔ Collaborate with production and quality teams
✔ Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
✔ Follow cleanroom protocols and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• AA degree or higher required
Experience:
• 3–6 years of Quality Control experience (medical device preferred)
Skills:
✔ Mechanical aptitude and measurement experience
✔ Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
✔ Ability to read technical drawings & specifications
✔ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
✔ Solid math skills (fractions, percentages, ratios)
Equipment Experience:
Microscope | CMM | Instron | Calipers | Micrometers | Pin Gauges | Snap Gauges
