Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products according to customer specifications.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems to track inventory movements and update stock levels accurately.
• Release job travelers per ERP system, use job traveler sleeves to protect documentation
• Evaluate vendor quotes and services
• Purchase and negotiate pricing and lead times for outside processing, materials, hardware, and supplies to support production needs per the MRP system, verbal, and written requisitionsConduct order picking and packing activities with precision to ensure correct items are shipped on time.
• Assist with order fulfillment processes for e-commerce platforms, ensuring timely dispatch.
• Maintain and establish effective relationships with suppliers
• Research and engage backup suppliers to eliminate single point of failure
• Pick-up and deliver parts / product to and from vendors as needed
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution workflows and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping, receiving and purchasing processes
• Previous experience with Windows PC
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
• Experience with order picker equipment, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and load/unload procedures.
• Knowledge of packaging standards for safe shipment of various product types.
• Purchasing experience
• Customer experience and building relationships with clientele
• Valid Drivers License with clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members across departments.
