Pay Rate: $17.00/hr


Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician ensures that products and processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the production lifecycle. This role performs inspections, reviews documentation, and collaborates with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. The technician supports continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring quality metrics and recommending corrective actions to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process work, and finished products to verify conformance with internal standards and customer specifications
  • Review and maintain quality documentation, job jackets, and production records in accordance with ISO and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct routine quality checks throughout production to ensure accurate and timely completion of daily work orders
  • Identify deviations or non-conformances and initiate corrective actions or escalation procedures
  • Maintain and update tracking systems and quality logs to ensure accurate reporting of daily production and quality performance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality procedures and process improvement initiatives
  • Communicate quality issues and recommendations clearly to production teams and management
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, HIPAA, and ISO 9001 requirements
  • Participate in audits, training, and cross-functional meetings as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
  • 1+ year of experience in a quality-oriented, production or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of quality control principles, documentation practices, and direct mail or print production processes
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and basic lean / six sigma concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications (a plus):

  • Experience in direct mail or print production
  • Prior experience with quality assurance tracking systems or databases
