About the Role:
Join Angel Care Companions LLC as a Personal Care Assistant in Enfield, CT, where you will provide compassionate support to individuals in need. Be a vital part of our dedicated team, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients every day.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including grooming and personal hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health status.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation to appointments and social events.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in personal care or nursing assistance preferred.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Background check and references required.
