Job Description
We're a custom Deck and Outdoor Living Space Builder looking for a reliable, hard-working Full Time Construction Project Coordinator with Strong Trailer Skills to join our team.
Not just any Project Coordinator. We want someone who can wear many hats such as make a plan and be accountable for their day, have a friendly and professional face in front of our clients and also be able to physically load and unload heavy concrete and lumber. There is some light tech stuff like: scanning items in and out of inventory, taking pictures on the jobsites and using email and google calendars.
The driving requirements of the position are towing and backing trailers up to 25ft into tight spots and being comfortable on tight and winding mountain roads. Must have experience hauling and backing in bumper pulls and gooseneck trailers. Bonus if you have hauled roll off dumpsters.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Use our trucks to set up/tear down jobsites (towing roll off dumpsters, materials, equipment)
- Make sure our crews have what they need – (materials, tools, paperwork, etc)
- Make material pick up and return runs to various vendors
- Plan, schedule, stay ahead of issues and keep projects organized and flowing
- Perform monthly maintenance on trailers, trucks and equipment.
- Starting pay is $26 per hour with performance bonuses tied to results
Who We're Looking For:
· Physically fit – must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
· Organized and can take direction, think a step or two ahead, troubleshoot and present workable solutions
· Level-headed – Jobsite logistics are sometimes subject to surprise changes, we need you to roll with the punches
· Communication – Informed and constant communication with our project leads, clients and vendors
· Solid work ethic and dedication to getting things done right and in a timely manner
· Positive and Professional workplace attitude is a must (this includes no drugs or alcohol on site)
· Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and vehicle insurance
· General Liability Insurance
· Must pass a background check
Here’s what you’re stepping into:
* A stacked support team (Sales Manager, Project Manager, Office Team)
* Dialed-in systems (Proven Processes, Procedures, Check & Balances)
* No-drama environment with high-accountability standards. We keep it professional but relaxed
* Beautiful high-end projects you’ll be proud to be a part of
* Growth opportunities: Advancement to project manager possible
Mindset and a good attitude, even on hard days, are the keys to a positive and successful work environment and make all the difference for our crews.
Important Notes: This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Taxes will NOT be taken out of your check and you will be responsible for paying your own end of year taxes.
We encourage you to apply if you are passionate about driving and organizing jobsite logistics.
