This is a 1099 position. No taxes are taken out of your weekly direct deposit. 

Griffin logistics is a contracting company contracting with local 3PL companies in the greater Milwaukee area. We are looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver inventory, this consists of breaking down pallets of inventory “as seen in photos “ and bringing the packages into their back store rooms. This labor consist of experience using a pallet jack , using a list gate to lower pallets on ground and driving a 26Ft box truck. We also specialize in other various delivery services with this same contract such as household and outdoor items. 90% of these deliveries are curbside and threshold deliveries. No crazy assembly or installation, Everything we deliver can be handled with an hand dolly . Our Delivery Drivers strive to get every order to the customer’s door on-time safely. This is a full time position Mon-Fri. 

Overview

We are seeking reliable, driven, and dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team in operating non-cdl 26FT box trucks making deliveries. We deliver in the metro Milwaukee area, racine, Kenosha, Illinois, greenbay, Wausau, Madison, and anywhere in between. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods within the community while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service, safety, grit, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. 4-12 stops per day on average. 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE DRIVING A 26FT BOX TRUCK IS REQUIRED! UP TO DATE DOT MED CARD IS REQUIRED 

CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED 

Responsibilities

Load and unload truck daily. Safely drive and operate a non-cdl 26” box truck at all times. This includes pulling into and backing out of smaller parking lots at times.
Using phone for routing information, customer delivery information.
Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions, we deliver in all weather conditions. Snow, Sleet, Rain, Cold and Heat
Load and unload pallets using Liftgate 
Complete all stops within the delivery window given.
Standard work week schedule is 5 days Monday - Friday 

Lift packages that can exceed up to over 50 lbs
Load and unload 26” non-cdl box truck efficiently and safely.
Navigate assigned routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Operate delivery trucks in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including delivery confirmations.
Assist in warehouse tasks as needed such as, load and unloading your truck.

Skills

Experience driving a 26” box truck 

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role.

Strong route driving skills
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate delivery documentation.
A valid driver’s license with a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD is essential! Dot med card is essential 6 months driving a 26ft box truck is required
