Machine Operator (Temp-to-Hire)

• Pay Rate: $25.00 / hour
• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary-to-Hire
• Shifts Available: Monday – Friday (3 shifts available—morning, afternoon, and night)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Setup, operate, and takedown all operations on assigned machinery, continuously working to maximize productivity.
• Troubleshooting & Quality: Troubleshoot machine functionality to ensure all safety, quality control, and production standards are consistently met.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize the production process.
• Workspace Ownership: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, taking pride in the condition of your work area.
• Teamwork: Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and remain ready to assist coworkers when needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience within a process-focused manufacturing environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical Skills: Experience or exposure to Lean/Six Sigma methodologies; ability to interpret spec sheets and job instructions.
• Language & Communication: Strong English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Math Skills: Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication); ability to interpret and calculate units of measure (training is available).
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand upright for 80% of the shift, with occasional kneeling and crouching. Must be able to push or move up to 80 lbs with assistance.
• Reliability: Consistent attendance, punctuality, and the flexibility to occasionally work overtime.
