Assembly Associate

Job Description:

All Shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

• Assembly floor/Dark Room.  Safety glasses, gloves. 
• Some choose to wear a smock to protect their clothing
• The Tester’s primary function is to test potted modules with various electro-optical test equipment, evaluate, disposition, and rework image intensifier tubes to ensure that product meets all specifications so that only quality product moves forward.
• The Tester must be able to multitask in a manufacturing environment and may be required to perform specialized tests and rework procedures as directed by supervision.
• Must maintain adequate throughput with high levels of quality while working in a dark room environment.

Must- Haves (Hard Skills)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 0-3 years of prior relevant experience
• Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Must be able to work alone and with others in a dark room environment
• Knowledge of all safety (mechanical, chemical, electrical) procedures applicable to job
• Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English (required)
• Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology (preferred)
• Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production) Soldering certification preferred
