About the Role:
Join ESSENTIAL ANGEL CARE LLC as a Personal Care Assistant in Suffolk, VA, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to those in need, and we invite you to be part of our supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medication and monitor clients' health as directed.
- Help with meal preparation and nutrition management.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document client progress and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the caregiving process.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in personal care is a plus.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or personal care role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
