Purchasing Clerk

We are now hiring a purchasing clerk to join our team in Lugoff, SC.

As the purchasing clerk you will be responsible for processing purchase orders, tracking incoming inventory, monitoring supplier deliveries, and maintaining accurate purchasing files to support daily supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and route purchase orders.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent supply shortages.
• Work with suppliers to track shipments, expedite late deliveries, and resolve pricing or invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain comprehensive databases of price lists, contracts, and vendor information.
• Analyze quotes and assist in comparing prices, delivery dates, and product quality to determine the best procurement options.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in a purchasing role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with Excel
• Ability to negotiate with vendors and coordinate with internal departments
• Experience with automated purchasing software and ERP systems

Hours: 7a-4p

Pay: $22
