Operations Support Associate

Seeking two Operations Support Associates to perform sanitation and quality control efforts in various Operations areas to control Food Safety Risks within the production environment. 

Openings are on 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM) and 3rd shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM).

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning tasks/assignments to standards
• Frequently perform production floor-based sanitation practices
• Troubleshoot processing and quality problems that occur
• Participate in the development of special processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• May contribute to the RCA/CAPA investigation of customer complaints and/or issues.
• Follows all quality, safety, and company protocols & procedures.
• Leads Operations staff in the implementation of Quality Systems requirements
• Other duties and special projects as needed. 

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production environment (food or ingredient industry).
• Introductory knowledge/exposure to HACCP, FSMA, GFSI standards
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Initiative and proactive attitude. 
• Multi-tasking is critical to this position. 
• Must be able to be exposed to and perform sensory evaluation on a variety of flavor and fragrance products, essential oils, and raw materials. 
• High school diploma or equivalent strongly desired.
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English; ability to communicate verbally with some proficiency in Spanish is desirable.
