Ormond Manor Assisted Living & Memory Care

Ormond Manor is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Part-Time Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our Memory Care team. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Medication Technician experience in an Assisted Living Facility, Memory Care, or related healthcare setting.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• Must possess a valid Medication Technician Certification obtained through an in-person 6-hour Medication Training Course.
• Online-only medication certifications will not be accepted.
• Strong understanding of medication administration, documentation, and resident safety.
• Experience working with residents with dementia and memory-related conditions preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and resident care skills.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Document medication administration and report any concerns or changes to Director.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all state regulations and community policies.
• Be teachable, respectful and have a good work ethic. Good attendance is a must!
