Die Cut Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Employment Solutions is recruiting for a Digital Die Cut Operator for our client’s manufacturing facility in Ellington, CT. This is a temp to hire opportunity on 2nd & 3rd shift with long-term potential for the right candidate.

• $18–$22/hour (based on experience)

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm -10:00 pm, M-F
• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am, M-F

In this role, you’ll operate a digital die cutting machine to apply laminate or UV varnish to printed labels. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

• Operate digital die cutting equipment (ABG)
• Perform job setups, routine quality checks, and troubleshoot basic issues
• Record production data accurately in an ERP system
• Maintain a clean and safe work area (5S / housekeeping)
• Communicate effectively with teammates and across shifts

• High school diploma or GED
• Manufacturing, press, or printing experience preferred (1+ year a plus)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly (up to 75 lbs with assistance)
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
