Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Forklift Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for safely receiving, documenting, and storing incoming materials; maintaining accurate inventory; and releasing materials to manufacturing or production according to schedule. The ideal candidate works efficiently, maintains high quality standards, and supports the team in meeting production, safety, and budget expectations.

Advanced Duties, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Receiving: Safely receives and offloads incoming material deliveries.
- Documentation: Matches BOLs/receivers with purchase orders and accurately maintains electronic inventory systems.
- Inventory Management: Organizes and stores project-specific and stock materials in designated areas.
- Production Releases: Loads, stages, and releases materials according to production schedules.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintains clean, clear, and safe docks, racks, and pathways.
- Equipment Maintenance: Performs daily checks and basic maintenance on forklifts, dollies, gates, and overhead doors.
- Performance: Demonstrates a proven track record of reliable, consistent performance and strong work ethic.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Requires medium to heavy physical work, including lifting, pulling, pushing, or moving up to 75 lbs.
- Frequent standing; occasional crouching, kneeling, stooping, and overhead work.
- Requires reaching, grasping, and handling tools or materials, including repetitive motions.
- Work is primarily indoors with controlled environmental conditions, occasional outdoor exposure.
- Must be able to understand verbal instructions and communicate effectively (English preferred).
- Must have acceptable visual acuity (close, distance, and focus adjustment).
- Noise levels vary from low to moderate; occasional higher noise may require ear protection.
