Customer Service & Operations Specialist for a biomedical manufacturer / distributor located in the Irvine CA area. This is a full ON SITE position. Ideal candidate is willing to learn new systems and AI procedures.
This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity. Hours 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM or 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Overtime may be possible, including Saturdays. Paying $28-30/hr, depending on experience. Ideal candidate is seeking a long-term position with potential to grow to a management role. Company will complete a drug screen prior to start.
Essential Responsibilities: Serves as a key point of contact for customers while also supporting critical operational processes that help ensure an exceptional customer experience.Duties:
- Order Entry of customer orders taken by phone or email or fax.
- Learn and use AI procedures (company will train)
- Scan documents, as needed.
- Follow up with customers regarding any questions for clarification; order status; changes, etc.
- Track shipments
- Manage returns and exchanges
- Maintain customer records and document customer interaction within company system
- Develop and maintain a consistent customer database
- Work closing with sales, operations, technical support, manufacturing and leadership teams to ensure customer needs are addressed efficiently and accurately
- Troubleshoot product and order related issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and help streamline internal workflows
- Min 3 years Customer Service w/Order Entry experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Interest in learning new systems and AI procedures
- Accurate typing at 40 wpm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, detail-oriented and highly organized
- Resourceful and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience processing RMA's (returned goods) would be a plus.
- Intermediate MS Word/Excel; Comfortable using Internet with ability to learn new software programs quickly.
- Experience with a CRM database system is desired, but will train (Company uses Sage).
- Ability to multi-task and manage assigned/special projects.
- Ability to lift to 15 lbs for a distance up to 300 ft.
- Maintain and file information for customer accounts and sales representatives.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $28.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
