Job Responsibilities

Emergency Care & Stabilization: Rapidly assess, triage, and stabilize critical and acute patients arriving at a rural/remote community emergency care setting.

Intervention & Resuscitation: Administer emergency medications, manage advanced IV lines, interpret complex cardiac rhythms, and assist with resuscitations or intubations.

Patient Monitoring: Maintain close, continuous monitoring of unstable patients awaiting transfer or admission.

Documentation: Handle precise, real-time electronic clinical documentation under high-pressure, fast-paced situations.

Job Requirements

License: Active, unrestricted Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license (or valid multi-state Compact license).

Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of recent, independent ED/Trauma nursing experience. Critical access or rural healthcare facility experience is a major plus.

Certifications: Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) is highly preferred.

Adaptability: Exceptional autonomy and flexibility to adjust to rotating shifts, local community dynamics, and critical resource limitations.
