The Purchasing Coordinator will support three to four Buyers at any given time as well as the Purchasing Manager with vendor relationship activities. They own the end-to-end process of an order status, price list and delivery dates.

Responsibilities

Review open order reports and unacknowledged reports daily and update dates as they change in SXE. As well as follow up on older orders.
Manage tickets that are assigned based on vendor and buyer
Responsible for the buyer's POs; they are assigned 3 - 4 buyers and can get 5-6 tickets a day on normal. During peak that amount can double.
Manage, and track confirmations, ASN, EDI as necessary
Build a relationship and have strong communication with vendor, Buyer and Purchasing Manager

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or zero to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Microsoft Office with emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel.
Experience with Smartsheet preferred but not required

This temporary position is not benefits eligible.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $20 - $22 per hour.
