This role focuses on supporting inventory management programs and improving processes that help PennDOT meet operational needs. Within this role, you will use data, research, and field coordination to guide better decisions and strengthen inventory controls statewide. As a Management Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Inventory Support: Assist in managing material inventory programs and recommend practices that improve controls
- Data Analysis: Review system information, study trends, and prepare reports that guide decision making
- Field Review: Participate in quality assurance visits and help organizations implement best inventory practices
- Research Activities: Gather information through interviews, surveys, and system queries to support program improvements
- Policy Development: Help prepare procedures, manuals, and documentation related to inventory operations
- Training Assistance: Support the creation and delivery of inventory management training materials

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position will be headquartered at the Keystone Building in Harrisburg or at a district office near your home that has available workspace.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the assigned headquarters location. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
