DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports the Waterways and Wetlands Program by managing records, reviewing applications, and coordinating many parts of the permitting process. As a Management Technician, you will perform the following duties:
- Application Review: Evaluate permit application materials for completeness and accuracy, including developing a final recommendation
- Data Management: Maintain databases and track project information across multiple systems
- Program Coordination: Support communication with staff, applicants, and other agencies
- File Organization: Arrange and update paperwork and digital records to support efficient program operations
- Public Requests: Assist with gathering information for informal file reviews and public inquiries
- Process Support: Help improve procedures and support program operations

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Norristown. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $45,907.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
