As an Inventory & Order Fulfillment Specialist, you’ll help keep products moving, support production, and ensure customers receive accurate, on‑time orders. What You’ll Do- Inventory accuracy — Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and communicate needs to Warehouse & Production.
- MRP setup — Set up and manage MRP to support purchasing and production planning.
- Order processing — Pick, process, and complete customer orders quickly and accurately.
- Cycle counts — Perform routine inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Freight handling — Load/unload containers and review freight documentation.
- Shipping support — Provide backup for shipping and receiving when needed.
- Purchasing assistance — Support purchasing with materials and supply needs.
- Cross‑department teamwork — Work closely with multiple departments to meet shared goals.
- General warehouse tasks — Take on additional duties as assigned.
- Inventory software experience — Familiarity with WMS or inventory programs.
- Problem‑solving — Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
- Math & accuracy — Solid math skills and attention to detail.
- Equipment operation — Ability to operate a forklift/pallet jack (or willingness to learn).
- Communication — Clear communication and a team‑first mindset.
- Organization — Ability to stay organized and work independently.
Preferred:
- Manufacturing warehouse experience — Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
This is a Contract position based out of Chesapeake, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
