General Production Worker
Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a General Production Worker where you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and coating operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality production of adhesive products while adhering to ISO standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery by loading jumbo rolls onto the unwind, adjusting machine components, and slitting and rewinding adhesive product strips onto cores.
- Obtain work orders from supervisors and label products and cartons appropriately.
- Pack products into the correct corrugate packaging.
- Ensure timely production of quality products in line with established standards.
- Perform operations in accordance with ISO Procedures.
- Acquire materials as specified in work orders and set up equipment for specific products.
Essential Skills
- Proven ability to work as part of a team in a diverse manufacturing environment.
- At least 6 months of operating experience, preferably extrusion operations.
- Basic mathematical skills, including proficiency with fractions.
- Comfortable standing for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must have Static Dissipative safety shoes to minimize static electricity build-up.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical skills are necessary if the candidate lacks previous operating experience.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
