Job Description

Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by unloading inbound shipments, accurately receiving and storing materials, picking customer orders, and preparing products for shipment in accordance with company standards. This role requires adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and environmental, health, and safety regulations while working in a fast-paced, climate-controlled warehouse environment. Employees will rotate duties daily and have the opportunity to gain experience with SAP warehouse management and voice picking systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Unload inbound shipments and accurately receive products, packing supplies, and materials
Verify item numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and material conditions
Place materials into storage locations and maintain accurate location records
Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct items, lot numbers, and quantities
Prepare orders for shipment in a customer-friendly manner
Pack materials into boxes, containers, and pallets while ensuring product protection
Verify cartons and shipment contents to meet customer requirements
Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Maintain compliance with quality standards and Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations
Participate in daily rotation of warehouse duties
Support warehouse operations using SAP warehouse management and voice-picking systems

Preferred Skills:

Previous forklift experience
Experience with SAP warehouse management systems
