Administrative Coordinator
Santa Rosa, CA
$24.25 - $28.50/hour DOE
3-Month Contract | Fully Onsite | M-F
LHH is partnering with a well-established nonprofit healthcare network to bring on an Administrative Coordinator supporting the Case Management team for a short-term contract. This role supports a busy case management team and plays a key part in coordinating patient transitions, verifying coverage, and keeping workflows moving efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for someone who understands healthcare operations and can support administrative needs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support case management workflows by handling administrative and coordination tasks tied to patient care
· Verify insurance coverage and benefits to ensure continuity of care and reimbursement
· Coordinate referrals, transfers, and discharges across various levels of care
· Assist with home health, DME, oxygen, and community-based service coordination
· Maintain and distribute patient information to support care transitions
· Obtain authorizations and assist with Medi-Cal processes
· Track and maintain data for claims processing, denials, and utilization trends
· Support medical record requests needed for certifications and continued stay reviews
· Assist with transportation coordination and discharge planning logistics
· Help maintain department schedules, logs, and reporting
Qualifications:
· Prior experience in healthcare administration, case management support, or a related setting
· Strong understanding of insurance verification, authorizations, and patient coordination processes
· Comfortable working in a high-volume, detail-driven environment
· Strong communication skills to interact with care teams, patients, and external providers
· Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
· Proficiency with data entry and basic Microsoft Office tools
