Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty pharmacy focused on complex infusion therapies is seeking a knowledgeable pharmacist to provide expert clinical care for patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic conditions. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers an engaging professional environment with low prescription volume, ideal for pharmacists who value personalized patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care involving factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and other novel infused and subcutaneous medications.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration, side effect management, adherence strategies, and safe handling practices in the home setting.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and internal care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Partner with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance complexities, secure prior authorizations, and access financial assistance programs for patients.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required; willingness to obtain additional state licenses is a plus.
  • Experience with CareTend software is highly preferred; training is available for qualified candidates.
  • Strong clinical knowledge related to specialty infusion therapies and patient education.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location:

  • Position based in the Memphis, Tennessee area (Cordova vicinity).
