Staff Pharmacist - Cordova, TN

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to support a specialty pharmacy focusing on complex infusion therapies. Based in Cordova, TN, this role offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with a start date as soon as possible. The facility specializes in low-volume clinical care for patients managing hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic conditions requiring infused medications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including clinical patient management for infused drugs such as factor replacement therapies and novel agents like emicizumab.
• Provide detailed patient education on drug administration, side effect management, medication adherence, and safe handling in home settings.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.
• Partner with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance plans, obtain prior authorizations, and assist patients in accessing financial support programs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License is required.
• Experience with CareTend pharmacy software is highly preferred; training may be provided for candidates without prior experience.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
