Occupational Therapist (School Based)

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Pay Rate: $44-$56 (Based on experience)

Schedule: Part-Time (up to 30 hours/week)

School Year: 2026–2027

Position Overview:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school team with the School District for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers 30 hours per week and will provide occupational therapy services to students within the school setting.

The district is also seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide leave coverage from September through December. Both opportunities offer the chance to work in a collaborative educational environment while supporting students' functional, sensory, motor, and academic success.

Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring as needed
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional skill development
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as appropriate

Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license/certification (required)
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Knowledge of special education procedures and IEP development
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Passion for supporting student independence and educational success
