Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in the Denver area as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. Full-time assignments (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) are available, with caseloads ranging from 25 to 45 students. Enjoy engaging work with a variety of age groups, as caseloads are determined by assignment across district campuses. The district encourages professional growth by allowing participation in Professional Development days as part of your workweek.
Candidates must provide on-site services—no virtual options are available. The role is open to Clinical Fellows if appropriate supervision can be arranged. Supporting students’ communication needs, you’ll work collaboratively within school teams to make a meaningful difference throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado Department of Education Certification
- Current Colorado SLP License
- Experience with school-aged populations preferred
- Ability to complete district background checks and fingerprinting
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- CF applicants welcome with available supervision
- No SLPA candidates accepted
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat communication disorders for students within assigned caseload (25-45 students)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support personnel
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain student documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with district procedures
- Attend designated Professional Development days as part of contractual hours
