Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education Certification required
• Previous experience working with elementary-age students is preferred
• Knowledge of best practices in individualized instruction and IEP implementation
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and students
• A flexible, compassionate approach tailored to each child’s needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to elementary students according to IEP goals
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes growth and engagement
• Adjust to a caseload size determined prior to your start; more information will be available during the interview process
