Job Description

The Assembly Technician performs standard assembly, testing, and calibration processes on manufactured products, ensuring each device meets quality and performance standards. This role involves assembling and inspecting devices, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard assembly, testing, and calibration processes on manufactured products.
• Assemble and inspect devices to ensure proper calibration and functionality.
• Maintain accurate documentation for work orders and related processes.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Recommend redline edits to Standard Operating Procedures to align documentation with actual floor practices.
• Participate in area events and take ownership of 5S practices to maintain organization and efficiency.

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of general assembly experience.
• Knowledge in the use of basic tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards and safe handling of sensitive electronic components.
• Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions and electronic/technical documentation such as schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly, soldering, production, and electronic assembly.
• Skilled in using hand tools and understanding mechanical and electrical assembly processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marina, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
