Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll work with a diverse K-8 student population, providing direct 1:1 and group therapy services that foster academic success, self-care skills, and social participation. Enjoy a structured weekday schedule, with hours from 7:55 AM to 3:30 PM, offering stability and work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for New York State
- Previous experience working in a pediatric, school-based, or educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, staff, and families
- Ability to independently manage caseloads and maintain accurate records
- Understanding of IEPs and progress monitoring processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 16 individualized (1:1) therapy sessions and 25 group sessions weekly
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers and interdisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
- Provide input for IEP meetings and contribute to progress reports
- Adapt therapy interventions to diverse student needs and learning styles
- Help students build fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
