Construction Design Manager
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Pay: $25-$30/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am- 5 pm
Job Description:
The Design Manager will have the opportunity to engage directly with potential home buyers, providing guidance and support throughout the home selection process. This role involves a blend of sales and design, where you will sit down with clients to assist them in choosing flooring, countertops, cabinets, and more. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire process, ensuring clients are updated daily with pictures and progress reports, and maintaining consistent communication to keep them informed every step of the way.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with potential home buyers and assist in the selection process.
- Persuade clients to purchase homes through effective communication and sales skills.
- Provide guidance in selecting flooring, countertops, cabinets, and other design elements.
- Own and manage the entire home selection and building process.
- Send daily updates and pictures to clients, ensuring they are informed of progress.
- Facilitate client sign-offs at various check points, including floor plans, covenants, and walkthroughs for electrical, tape & texture, trim, and cabinets.

Work Environment:
The role requires a commitment to working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The work environment is focused on continuous improvement and maintaining quality standards. You will be involved in a hands-on setting that requires carpentry and blueprint reading skills.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
