Special Education Teacher - Windsor, North Carolina

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lesson plans in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess students’ skills, progress, and academic needs regularly
• Modify curriculum based on each student’s strengths and challenges
• Provide direct instruction and support within a variety of educational settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant federal, state, and school requirements
• Foster a positive, supportive, and safe classroom atmosphere
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
