Job Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery to meet quality and efficiency standards. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, accurate data entry, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying work environments. Operators play a key role in ensuring smooth production flow and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate machines and process products to meet quality standards
  2. Follow safety rules and ensure the safety of self and team members
  3. Review and follow procedures including written instructions and safety requirements
  4. Assist team members in maintaining operational procedures according to company standards
  5. Monitor and inspect equipment, materials, and products
  6. Identify and resolve problems in processes or equipment
  7. Train and qualify on all HMIs
  8. Enter and review data on paper and computer systems
  9. Perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, bending, stooping, crawling, and standing for extended periods
  10. Work in varied environments including hot, cold, dusty, or dirty conditions

Required Qualifications
  1. Completion of OSHA Respirator Exam and medical clearance through Concentra
  2. Completion of Mobile Equipment Operator Exam and medical clearance through Concentra
  3. At least 18 years of age
  4. Legally eligible to work in the United States and for John Middleton Company
  5. Availability to work any shift, including mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays
  6. Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Prior manufacturing or operator experience or relevant military background
  2. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Certifications
  1. OSHA Respirator Exam completion required
  2. Mobile Equipment Operator Exam completion required
