School Psychologist – Little Ferry, NJ
Location: Little Ferry, New Jersey

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to support a district in Little Ferry, New Jersey for a maternity leave assignment. This is a full-time, onsite position serving students in PreK–8th grade within a small, collaborative school district.

Position Overview

• Schedule: Full-time (8:15 AM – 3:20 PM)
• Assignment Length: November 2026 – June 2027
• Grade Levels: PreK–8th Grade
• District Size: Approximately 900 students district-wide
• Caseload: Approximately 45–50 students
• Evaluations: Approximately 25 evaluations completed annually

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and complete comprehensive reports
• Provide individual and group counseling services as needed
• Serve as a case manager for assigned students
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and supports
• Assist with or coordinate HIB (Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying) responsibilities as needed
• Maintain compliance with state and district special education requirements

Requirements

• Active New Jersey School Psychologist certification
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and case management skills
• Knowledge of special education processes and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.11 to $70.11. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
