Pay Rate: $31.00/hour (1-year Contract)Shift: 3rd shift - 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, OT availableWhy you should apply to be Safety Coordinator:

What’s a typical day as Safety Coordinator? You’ll be:
  • Providing interpretation, analysis, and support for health and safety programs and processes
  • Spending significant time on the warehouse floor making safety observations, conducting incident investigations, interviewing employees, and training individuals on safety procedures
  • Participating in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes to reduce workplace hazards
  • Conducting safety audits and risk assessments, and managing corrective and preventative actions
  • Compiling and analyzing data, documentation, and correspondence to comply with safety regulations and management system requirements
  • Developing and conducting safety presentations and training sessions
  • Reviewing new products, equipment, and processes for potential hazards and compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have knowledge and experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment with a strong safety background
  • Possess a Safety Degree and/or very strong manufacturing safety experience (required)
  • Have experience in developing and providing safety training
  • Demonstrate strong skills in the MS Office suite
  • Hold a CSP accreditation (preferred)
  • Have experience with occupational safety and OSHA training (OSHA ten-hour card or thirty-hour experience preferred)
  • Are able to wear metatarsal protection from day one (not reimbursable)
  • Are eligible to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position)
